Hi! I’m Melanie Peterman, and I’m a Dallas-based educator and theatre artist. I graduated from Southern Methodist University with my BFA in Theatre in 2022, followed by my Master of Education in 2024. ​ As a full-time teacher and working actor in the DFW area, I pride myself on being a hardworking professional, a skilled communicator, a passionate advocate for the arts, and a lifelong learner.

When I manage to find a bit of free time between teaching and rehearsing, I love to unwind by hosting game nights with friends & family, watching sci-fi fantasy movies, writing music, painting, and relaxing with my sleepy tabby cat, Lunchbox. ◡̈
